Interesting to note that in my time here at BYU-Idaho I have seen an increase in the use of scooters and motorbikes here in town and on campus. Not only is this partially due to the fact that they can, almost literally, park anywhere (making the drive to school worth it by not spending another 15 - 20 minutes looking for good parking), they are also more fuel efficient, which, I believe, is at the heart of it all.
I thought about getting one, but then I decided that I could walk or ride my bike and save some money. Also, they make people look silly.
