I fell in to the trap. Recently I have been very caught up with the whole "Twitter/Social Media/Blog" future hype thing. I have been going back in forth in my mind about the ups and downs of the industry and the impact of these new media in the near and distant future. Then this morning I realized that it doesn't really matter. I mean, in the business-cause-I'm-a-developer way it is important, but really thats it. Who cares if I connect with my friends and peers on Facebook or MySpace, with Twitter or AIM - as long as I connect with them. Hopefully in person if possible, but where in-person meeting is impractical, as long as I am a good friend and keep in touch the medium is unimportant.
