I hereby decree that the IT department at this school does weird things. Take, for example, the University Calendar. Tons of great info AND they even have it available in RSS (non-standard, non-validating RSS, but RSS none the less) BUT they do not have it available in any other useful format. What if I wanted to import it to iCal or Outlook or use it in Google Calendar. Nope. I would have assumed that when programming a calendar that making it available in a standard calendar format would have been first on my list. Now, I do now know the circumstances. Maybe the way it is put together really is the best, but I am seriously disappointed by the lack or planning and forethought on all school IT projects.
