I hereby decree that Digg isn't so great anymore. I can't remember if I have ranted about this in the past but there was a good year and half there that I was addicted to Digg and couldn't help but check the feed 20 times a day. Now, I visit the site maybe once a week, at most, and when I do I hardly find much of value. What happened Digg? Did you get worse? Did I grow up? Or maybe I just overdid it, like listening to a favorite song one to many times, and now I can't stand it. Maybe it was because I thought the API contest was pathetic (sure, have a contest in the middle of my busiest semester!). Whatever the reason, Digg and I are now just old acquaintances, no longer the good friends we used to be.
