I hereby decree that we should rethink citation style. Now I know that it is important to have a system that helps facilitate research citation and makes things have continuity; however, I don't see why citations have to be cryptic, hard to understand and impossible to remember. What if we did something like this?

Or something along those lines. Easy to remember, easy to dicipher. Maybe take out the "Author(s):" Part to make it easily scanned in the bibliography. I think that usability design and good design in general can be applied to so many different areas. I don't mean to laugh in the face of hundreds of years of academic research and practice, buy maybe it is time for a change.
